About Us

We are people with spirit of service. We do our utmost to improve the quality of life of those who suffer from any disabilities, within their family as well as their work. This is why we donate earphones, wheel chairs, and prosthetics, grant loans and finance various treatments.

More than 40 years ago we decided to found the Association, now called Ayudar es Vivir, a non lucrative NGO for development that gives the necessary support to people of all ages suffering from any disabilities and who lack economic resources. They may or may not be patients at any of the hospitals; our sole purpose is to ensure their rehabilitation and subsequent insertion into the society.

Within the association there is a group called “Promoters of Health and Happiness”, whose generous donations help meet the requirements of people suffering from any disabilities.

Ayudar es Vivir has a program called “Revolving Fund” for the setting up of micro enterprises. This program has been created to help and promote the economical development of people suffering from any disabilities, granting loans to those who are willing to work, have a business project and accept proper training to ensure success. To date more than 100 micro enterprises have been created, and when the loans are paid back the money is used again to finance new micro enterprises.

Apart from the social and economic aid we provide to people suffering from any disabilities, we also organize every year the Christmas Party for the disabled children that are patients at the National Institute of Rehabilitation “Adriana Rebaza Flores”. The little ones enjoy children’s shows, inflatable games, contests, prizes, gifts, and snacks trying to make this day a joyful Christmas day they never forget.
